Bone marrow
(Science: haematology) The soft, spongy tissue found in the centre of most large bones that produces the cellular components of blood: white cells, red cells and platelets (haemopoiesis). It is also the most radiation sensitive tissue of the body.
The fatty network of connective tissue that fills the cavities of bones.Very tender and very nutritious tissue from marrowbones.Found in the bone, is responsible for the creation of blood cells.
