Broth
in the food industry, a thin liquid which is made by boiling meat or vegetables or bones and is used in preparing other foods. It can be found in powder form in most grocery stores.
(Science: cell culture) a liquid medium containing a variety of nutrients which is used to grow cultures of bacteria and other microorganisms.
