Cyclozoonosis
a zoonosis that requires more than one vertebrate host (but no invertebrate) for completion of the life cycle; e.g., various taenioid cestodes such as Taenia saginata and t. Solium in which humans are an obligatory host; hydatid disease, a cyclozoonosis in which man is not an obligatory host.
