The most electrically excitable area of the muscle wherein a minimum amount of electrical stimulation will easily excite this portion of the muscle. The application of an electrical stimulus on the skin, via an electrode, will cause the (underlying) muscle to contract and will elicit the greatest muscular contraction.

The motor point is usually located at the center of the muscle mass where the motor nerve enters the muscle.
