Provacuole

provacuole
(Science: plant biology) In plant cells provacuoles are budded directly from the rough endoplasmic reticulum and fuse with other provacuoles to form vacuoles. Since vacuoles may contain hydrolytic enzymes, it is therefore possible to consider them as analogues of primary lysosomes in animal cells.
