A genus of tapeworms (family Davaineidae, order Cyclophyllidea), three species of which, raillietina madagascariensis or Raillietina demerariensis, Raillietina asiatica, and Raillietina formsana, have been found in humans. However, the identification of many of these worms found in man has been questioned.
